Meet the Eco Committee
Our Eco-Warriors are passionate about ensuring our planet’s health is maintained for their and future generations. They were inspired by the campaigning of Greta Thunberg and asked to set up a new committee in order to make a difference on a local level. They have worked hard to implement changes in our school that will impact on the planet’s well-being. Their campaigns have included: providing paper recycling bins and compost bins in each class; and launching a ‘Save Water’ campaign and championing Walk to School Week. Their input also led to changes in our Long-Term rolling programme (which can be found elsewhere on this site); in 2023 the focus for learning in the Summer Term will be environmental issues under the Topic Title: There is no planet B!
